CivicBell is a non-partisan democracy platform aimed at fostering effective governance within a representative democracy. The platform offers a news feed interface for government agencies, local elected officials, and public representatives to interact with constituents on issues relevant to their respective districts.

CivicBell provides:

• Automated links connecting residents with the government districts they reside in, enabling communication with officials and agencies representing those areas.
• A trust foundation by verifying all users as real individuals, excluding bots and foreign entities from influencing government decisions. User engagement requires a verified identity.
• A platform for government bodies to engage with constituents in an accessible and efficient manner.
• Features for government accounts to share information, conduct surveys, and facilitate open discussions with their constituencies.

Additional features of CivicBell include:

• Local News integration: Direct links to local news sources, including lesser-known sources, to promote local journalism engagement and community cohesion.
• CivicMap functionality: Allows users to zoom in and out to view various districts they belong to, ranging from school and fire districts to city, county, and state levels. This feature enables tracking officials across different geographic districts as an observer.
